Rimonabant

Rimonabant is a prescription medicine intended for the treatment of obesity (unhealthy excessive weight) that should be combined with a healthier diet and regular exercise. Accumulation of excessive body fat can cause a number of serious diseases, such as diabetes, certain cancers (colorectal cancer) and cardiovascular disease. This drug has been developed by the Sanofi-Avensis company. The findings of the company that was going to develop a highly-efficient treatment or obesity were based on the knowledge that people smoking cannabis often have hunger attacks, obviously caused by cannabinoid receptors. This meant that if they found how to block these receptors - the feeling of hunger would be controlled and the patient would be able to eat less because of reduced feeling of hunger. Just like any medicine, rimonabant may cause side effects. In most cases they are mild and last for just several hours, but in some rare cases may require you to withdraw from the treatment. Report to your doctor any of the following side effects if they persist or become bothersome: bruising, falling, dizziness, nausea, anxiety, muscle cramps, fatigue, tendon inflammation, itching, upper respiratory tract infections, hot flushes, diarrhea, memory loss, back pain, excessive sweating, vomiting, depression, irritability, upset stomach, and any other ones not mentioned here but that interfere with your everyday activities. It's important to remember that rimonabant will not produce the result desired if you just take it - a lot of effort is also required on your part, but with this drug the entire process becomes a lot easier.
